Natan Dvir

Natan Dvir is an educator, artist, and editorial photographer. 

Dvir is the Managing Director of Education at the Houston Center for Photography (HCP), which he joined in 2023 after establishing the Part-Time Programs at the International Center of Photography (ICP) between 2021-2022. He received his MBA from Tel Aviv University and his MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts, New York. Dvir is Israel’s first Sony Imaging Ambassador, and photographs around the world with representation by Polaris Images agency and Anastasia Photo gallery. His personal work focuses on the human aspects of cultural, social, and political issues. 

Dvir has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in museums, galleries, and festivals around the world, including the United States, Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, and Israel. His work was featured in group exhibitions at the Triennial of Photography Hamburg and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Dvir’s work is widely published in leading international magazines, including National Geographic, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Der Spiegel, The Guardian, and Le Monde. His work has received recognition winning international prizes including multiple winning entries in Picture of the Year (POYi), PDN Photo Annual, American Photography, Discoveries of the Meeting Place (FotoFest), and Critical Mass Top 50.
