Private Lessons provide students with a highly effective, one-on-one learning experience with HCP instructors, including working artists, photojournalists, and educators. To learn more, please explore our Instructors page.
Private Lessons are tailored to students’ skill level and interesting and can focus a variety of topics including (but not limited to): camera operations, photographic processes, equipment, software, composition, lighting, printing, specific genres or techniques, and more.
Private Lessons are a great option for:
Students seeking instruction in a specific subject
Students who are unable to attend a multi-week course
Students looking for personal tutoring by one of HCP’s instructors
Students who want to take the next step in their photography practice
Private Lessons are offered at a rate of $125 an hour (HCP Individual+ level members receive a 10% discount). Multiple lessons can be booked at one time. Once payment is processed, we will connect you with an instructor who best fits your needs, interests, and availability. Lessons may take place at HCP or at any location agreed upon with your instructor.
