Join us online on Tuesday, October 28, from 5:00-6:00pm CST for an informative free webinar covering everything you need to know about portfolio reviews and how they can advance your photographic practice.
Registration is required using this link.

Portfolio Reviews have grown to be the main professional format for photographers to present their work to industry experts, receive valuable feedback, develop meaningful professional relationships, and open the door for potential exhibitions, magazine articles, online features, book publications, gallery representation, and print sales. As costs are often substantial, photographers aim to maximize the potential opportunities and carefully prepare following important guidelines.
When should photographers attend portfolio reviews? Which portfolio reviews are recommended? What work to present and how? Which reviewers to prioritize and why? How to plan for the days of the review? What to expect during a meeting? What are the Dos and Don’ts? What opportunities lie outside the meetings? Is it really worth the investment?
Having participated in dozens of portfolio reviews as a photographer (2007-2019) and as a reviewer (2017-2025), HCP Managing Director of Education Natan Dvir will answer all these questions and more, discuss best practices, and share valuable tips and resources. A 45-minute lecture will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.
