Cammie Tipton-Amini
Cammie Tipton-Amini is an independent scholar and photo-historian. Her primary research focuses on contemporary photography within the postcolonial diaspora. She holds an M.A. in Art History from the University of Houston. Published essays include, “Martin Parr and the Legacy of British Colonial Photography,” (2023, Third Text) and “Vernon Fisher and the Hilton Family: The Unseen Work,” (2025, Third Text). Critical writings and interviews appear in Hyperallergic, British Journal of Photography, Glasstire, and Flat Files.
